April IPSY Box Unboxing
Hi, hello. It's me. I love a lot of things. Books, Netflix, coffee. I also have a lot of hobbies and quite honestly it isn't all that easy to have all these interests and hobbies because there's too much you could possibly keep yourself busy with and you find yourself giving up after an hour of trying to decide what to do and end up watching the umpteenth episode of whatever on Netflix and eat all your hot Cheetos. Maybe that's just me though, who knows.
ANYWAY, I love makeup. I'm a girl who loves me some eyeshadow and a good liner. But I don't buy a lot of makeup and very rarely experiment with new makeup products since I don't want to waste my money on a $30 foundation that I don't even like all that much. So I decided to give in and subscribe to IPSY a few months back and I absolutely love it. I'm assuming that every girl already knows about IPSY since every influencer has it it seems. However, I am not one of those cool people, I just like makeup and signed up for the subscription. I do have the premium service though since I like full size products versus sample size as I get a better idea of the product but that's just me.
So far, it's the only makeup subscription that I've tried but honestly, I don't really want to switch or do any more research. I've yet to be disappointed with an IPSY box so they have my whole little heart. Let me just go ahead and actually get into the unboxing however, I've talked for quite enough.
The actual product they sent me was this Tarte tartiest double take eyeliner in black. It's dual tipped, one end being pencil and the other being a nice little liquid liner. I have a slight obsession with cat eyeliner so I have WAY too many liquid liners. I've been trying for a while to find a dupe for my all time favorite liquid eyeliner before I run out of it since I'm pretty sure it was limited edition and I'm desperate, so the more eyeliners I get in my little baby hands, the better.
The next couple of things I got were these two lipsticks. One is a lipstick and the other a really pretty matte liquid lipstick. The add-on I purchased for my IPSY box this month was this beautiful nude lipstick from Lovecraft Beauty in the color "Fausta" because I'm a SUCKER for a good matte nude lip color.
The one I was sent as part of my box was this Dose Of Colors liquid matte lipstick in the color "Brick". OMG. It's so pretty. It has a bit more red undertones compared to the one I added into my box and it looks so creamy and I can't wait to actually wear it and try it out. I've been stuck inside my house since coming back from Puerto Rico last month so I'm waiting for the perfect excuse to actually do my makeup. I haven't been wearing any because, like, there's no point.
IT'S NOT LIKE ANYONE IS GOING TO SEE MY PRETTY LIPSTICK AND MY PERFECT CAT LINER. Anyway. Moving along.
The next couple of items I'm pretty darn excited for. I got two more face masks and some lotion. Like, be still my little heart.
The lotion is from the brand CELA and it's their creme rose The Very Best Rose body lotion and IT. SMELLS. SO. GOOD. I put it on right after taking a shower and it smells beautiful. It has that lovely rose scent of course, but it's downplayed a little bit with stronger hints of Jasmine and peach to make the rose scent sweeter without making you smell like a grandma. Sorry, grandma, I love you.
I'm also pretty excited about these face masks from Starskin VIP. It's their Cream De La Creme Luxury Cream Coating Face and Diamond Mask and if that doesn't sound fancy then I don't know what does honestly. Not to mention these masks are a pretty penny so I'll be using these when my skin needs some serious help or I want the best self-care day there ever was. Or if I'm getting ready for a date with the bf, we'll see how I feel.
And last but not least, this cute little makeup bag. I honestly don't need any more makeup bags but I LOVE the makeup bags I get from IPSY. They're the cutest things ever and I think this one has to be my favorite one so far.
It's so cute and round and this adorable mint green color. It looks vintage with the little doodle flowers all over it and it also fits satisfyingly in my little hands. Good job, IPSY.
I actually got one last item in my box but I gave it to my mom since I don't really paint my nails anymore. I got the Context Skin nail polish duo in "Rocket Queen" and "Don't Cry". One color was a really pretty Mauve color and the other a nice gold polish. They looked pretty high quality and creamy as heck, it was lovely.
But that's officially it for my little unboxing of this month's IPSY box. I love having makeup show up at my front door every month so if you think you would like to have a little pink box show up every month to make you more beautiful than you already are, click here! Thanks so much for reading, hopefully someone enjoyed this post, and Until next time! Stay safe, wash your hands, and reach out to someone who might need a little bit of help. You never know.
